JR started playing guitar when he was 8, taking years of private instruction and multiple music programs, including Simon Fraser & Capilano University. After Running a teaching/recording & artist development studio (MINK) on the North Shore for over 20 years, JR is bringing his enthusiasm & dedication to Deep Cove Music. As the head instructor, JR heads many opportunities for teachers and students, including the monthly Ukulele club for the community at Honey's donuts which is open to all ages.
